1928 Tom and Rachel Still found Tom Still Transfer. Rachel sells her prized horse “Dan” to purchase the first moving van. They haul all types of commodities and operate out of their home

The first warehouse is built but construction is halted at two stories tall due to the material shortage during WWII

During WWII, Tom Still Transfer serves as a primary mover to relocate 2000+ families into Oak Ridge, a key secret location for the Manhattan Project
